Let’s clear up the common misconception about restricting your puppy’s water during house training. While scheduling meals can help with potty training, water should always be available! Puppies naturally regulate their own intake and need constant access for healthy development.
Did You Know?
Fun Fact: Puppies have a special scent gland in their noses that helps them find their mother, even before their eyes and ears are open! Their sense of smell is incredibly powerful from birth and continues to develop as they grow. It’s their very first superpower!

Customer Spotlight
“We adopted a Bernedoodle from the Dog Club a few weeks ago, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience.
They contacted us by phone after we picked our puppy, and walked us through the process. They continued to stay in contact for weeks, all the way up to the pickup date.
We had several questions about how to make sure our adult Goldendoodle would handle the new puppy, and they offered several suggestions.
We’ve been thrilled with our new puppy, and he has adjusted quite well. He is so smart and happy. We are just thrilled. We highly recommend the Dog Club“

Breed of the Month: Cavapoos
Cavapoos are a truly wonderful breed, known for their affectionate nature, intelligence, and low-shedding coats. A cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Poodle, Cavapoos tend to inherit the best traits from both parents—gentle, loving personalities paired with sharp minds and hypoallergenic tendencies.
They are incredibly social and thrive on companionship, making them a great fit for families with children, first-time dog owners, or even empty nesters looking for a loyal companion. Their adaptable energy levels mean they’re just as happy going on a walk as they are cuddling on the couch.
We especially recommend Cavapoos for families seeking a sweet, trainable, and people-oriented pup who will quickly become a beloved member of the household.

From Scoops to Superstar, Meet Sarah!
If you’ve ever wondered what true growth, dedication, and quiet strength look like, just spend a day with Sarah, our incredible Puppy Care Manager here at Charlotte Dog Club.
Sarah joined our team five years ago, shortly after turning 20, coming to us from the local ice cream shop. Back then, she was quiet, reserved, and always observed before she spoke, but it didn’t take long for us to see the spark she carried. Fast forward to today, and that spark has grown into a full-blown flame. Sarah is now one of our strongest leaders, heading the Puppy Care department with grace, precision, and deep compassion.
She doesn’t just manage the day-to-day operations; she pours herself into the well-being of every team member she leads and every puppy under her care. Her steady leadership, attention to detail, and genuine heart make her a true force behind the scenes and someone we are incredibly lucky to have.
When she’s not keeping our puppy care world running smoothly, Sarah’s a lover of all things nature. Her favorite animal is the majestic blue whale (or, as she affectionately calls it, the “balun whale”), and her favorite pet is her snuggly cat, Nebula, who always knows when it’s time for couch cuddles. Sarah’s love for her family runs deep, and one of her favorite traditions is an annual national park trip with her dad.
We’re so proud of the leader Sarah has become and the heart she brings to our Charlotte Dog Club family. Thank you, Sarah, for your dedication, your kindness, and the example you set every day.

Thank you for being part of the Charlotte Dog Club family! If you have any questions or would like to schedule a visit, don’t hesitate to reach out.
